this little booklet is the outcome of a one-week project in Rüsselsheim/germany. the city is dominated by the Opel Manufactory. the title of the workshop was:
"Eldorado Rüsselsheim, wherefrom, whereto and how?", it's been organized by illust_ratio.
the three little episodes i made are based on Sophie Marie Opel, the wife of Adam Opel, and the "La Dorada" of Rüsselsheim.

this is a little edition (50 copies) of the little story i developed during the one-week workshop with nicolas robel at fumetto comix festival 2010 in lucerne (CH).

it's two booklets in one. one tells a story with only words, the other one only with drawings. you can read them separately, but together they make something new.

rosarot in cannes: NEXT GENERATION

German Films offers a peek into the future of German cinema through the "Next Generation 2009" initiative staged during the Cannes film festival.

The short film program of "Next Generation 2009" will be presenting twelve new productions from German film academies. An expert jury has put together a varied selection of fiction films, documentaries, animated and experimental films. The premiere took place on Sunday, 17 May 2009, in the STAR cinema in Cannes and gives international professionals an opportunity to discover the up-and-coming generation of directors from Germany.

"raubvogel." wurde am 3.april 2009 in berlin im 1A Lauschgift gezeigt und war unter den 10 nominierten daumenkinos. gewonnen habe ich eine swatchuhr und stabilostifte. wenn wer nach berlin kommt kann er mir die gerne mitbringen!
