i went to moscow last weekend to represent the next generation role at the 8th Festival of German Films in Moscow (03 - 06 December 2009) organized by german films in cooperation with the goethe-institut.

kuš! invited artists from all over the world to create a drawing about a last match on a tiny paper which fits into a matchbox. the whole exhibition fits into several matchboxes and therefore demonstrates that out of something small you can make something big.
the last match exhibition was organized in 2009 by the latvian komikss magazine kuš! (www.komikss.lv). an overview of the links of all participating artists in alphabetical order you can find on thelastmatch.wordpress.com.

rosarot in cannes: NEXT GENERATION
The short film program of "Next Generation 2009" will be presenting twelve new productions from German film academies. An expert jury has put together a varied selection of fiction films, documentaries, animated and experimental films. The premiere took place on Sunday, 17 May 2009, in the STAR cinema in Cannes and gives international professionals an opportunity to discover the up-and-coming generation of directors from Germany.

"raubvogel." wurde am 3.april 2009 in berlin im 1A Lauschgift gezeigt und war unter den 10 nominierten daumenkinos. gewonnen hab ich dann aber leider nur eine swatchuhr und stabilostifte. wenn wer nach berlin kommt kann er mir die gerne mitbringen!
Veranstaltet wurde der daumenkino contest von FAMUSfilm.

the "RUSSEN." exhibition was shown at the fumetto festival in luzern/suisse from the 28th of march till the 5th of april 2009.
